Saturn V / Apollo Cookie Cutters

Saturn V / Apollo Cookie Cutters

thingiverse

In preparation for the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, I made some cookie cutters because, why not? One is of a complete Saturn V launch vehicle and the other is a docked Command Service Module and Lunar Module. Additionally, there are some pieces included to aid in removing the cutter/cookie after use (some of the finer details tend to stick and are too small to use a finger to push down). I also found (at least with the sugar cookie recipe I was using) that it was much easier to roll and cut them on whatever surface I was going to cook them on rather than trying to move them. The finer details tended to stick or stretch otherwise. Also, pull them out as soon as you see any browning at all. All the thin bits cook much faster than the rest and get burned easily. I just used widely-available design schematics from the actual vehicles and traced them in Fusion 360, making a few modifications to allow for easier printing. I included the original Fusion 360 file, STEP file and the STLs for easy printing/modification. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have! If you print, please post a make as I'd love to see how yours turns out! Also, any feedback is appreciated!
