Saturn Robot Rocket
thingiverse
This is a replacement rocket designed to fit the original 1980s KAMCO Saturn Robot. Created specifically for refurbishing a Saturn Robot, the rocket was printed out and molded with silicone before being cast in urethane plastic. The entire process can be seen in action here: https://youtu.be/Td5tmXxFfpY. Additionally, this same rocket is also used in the Action Robot Invader model. You can view its video showcase here: https://youtu.be/dyrZavwLlwE. For a quick and simple solution, you could simply print out the rocket design and paint it to match your needs. However, I experimented with molding and casting different types of plastic for this project. If you're experiencing issues with printing the model, consider cutting it in half and printing each half separately before gluing them together. This method proved effective for me during testing. If you find this model helpful, please consider showing your appreciation by offering a tip.
