Saturn earring
thingiverse
An earring shaped like Saturn with gleaming rings. To craft this stunning piece of jewelry, follow these steps: Cut the model using a circular top shell, ensuring that each ring has a smooth surface reminiscent of high-quality photos of our celestial neighbor, Saturn. To achieve optimal results, you may need to fine-tune your slicer settings (extrusion width and others) to minimize gaps in the thin rings. A minimalist infill setting (around 10%) will help keep the earring light enough without sacrificing its overall structure. When reviewing your model in the slicer software, take note that we print the top section separately from the bottom one. After combining these parts, you can see how they blend together seamlessly to create a beautiful sphere. As evident from our example photo, only supports were necessary for holding the entire piece together. Keep in mind that this earring is extremely delicate due to its size and intricate details, making high resolution and low speed print settings essential. After printing, gently remove the supports before gluing everything together – we opted not to do any additional cleaning or processing on our printed sample, still it looks stunning as you can see!
