Satsana Ender 5 Micro Swiss Direct Drive Fan Duct w/o ABL
thingiverse
- This is an update from 5 minutes later of originally posting, I gave up trying to add a bracket for BL touch since I realized you have to get the actual mounting location pretty exact when it comes to how high. Gave up out of laziness. -Another update 5 minutes later from the last one, if you look up the user fntouch then he actually made a remix including a bracket that attaches to the fan so you can mount the BLtouch to that. Originally by eric-anastas, then remixed by RapidMonster, and finally me. RapidMonster made some improvements on the original and also added ABL support, unfortunately I use BLtouch instead of ABL but in the process of editing the step file I figured I'd upload this as an in-between for any body who has the micro swiss direct drive kit but no auto bed leveling whatsoever, this is what RapidMonster improved on and is a direct copy-paste from his upload. The following changes were made: -Added a mounting bracket in the upper right corner to make use of the additional mounting hole of the new backplate -Removed some material around the mounting holes to make space for the belt which did push against the duct in the original version -Shortened the duct by 2mm in the y-direction to make everything look better, reduce weight and increase the print volume by a bit. -Changed the mounting holes of the 5015 fan to accept M3 screws -Made some space for the plastic clips of the 5015 fan -> Remove the bit of plastic that is necessary to bridge the pocket with a knife after printing the duct -Rounded the corners of the 4010 Fan pocket -Added a mounting bracket for a PINDA probe (which I removed to make this)
