Satsana Ender 3 Fan Duct Direct Drive MOD

This is a modification of the Satsana Ender 3 Fan Duct to fit an Ender 3D Pro direct drive with CR Touch. It has been further modified to split. There is a base that mounts to the printer and one bolt holds the Santsana to the base mount. This enables easier removal of the Satsana for access to the hotend assembly without removing the CR Touch. The original Satsana Fan Duct can be located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4369859. There are also two light mounts for a LED Indicator light purchased from Amazon for the front and back. The print can be used without light mounts if desired. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DXHGQG3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) The LED light mount are installed after installing the modified Satsana Fan Duct using a small screw. You will not use the nut on the LED light. It slides in and will hold in place. I also installed a switch bought from Amazon. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W4JJ6X8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) You may need to use longer screws to mount the Satsana. It will mount with hardware supplied but takes some effort. ASSEMBLY – You will need a M3 x 20mm bolt. The base is mounted to the printer using the bolts supplied for the CR Touch. The Santsana will slide onto the base and secure using the M3 x 20mm bolt. You can then mount the light holders if desired. You can use one or both light holders. Run wire from light through mount and under the x-axes to the wire harness from the print head. Use a zip tie to secure the light wires to the bracket on the back light holder. This is important to keep the light wires out of the wheel of X-axes. (See Pictures) The listed lights above will wire into the power supply. You can install a switch for the lights, if desired. Suggestion - Thread screws into mounts a few turns and remove before assembly to get threads started. This will make it easier to assemble.
