Sept 27, 2018. I'm updating version 1.6 to fix a new bug where rollers interfere on the inside of support fins. I've Dremeled my existing plastic again and changed the default "FinBearingMeatPocketClearance" to 2mm. This gives it some extra room without altering anything else. Thanks for waiting patiently - use the watch button to stay informed about updates. This library helps you make mecanum wheels that can be customized to suit your needs. It comes with default parameters and five rollers at a 45-degree angle, using skate bearings by default. You can adjust any of these 84 parameters to create your own unique wheels. Make sure the opposing mecanum wheel's roller angle is negated. Designed in openSCAD, all files are included - just edit preferences to fix preview issues. This library also works with Customizer, available in the apps tab above (Customizer needs third-party cookies, by the way). Be aware that Customizer previews can't handle fins correctly, but they render fine in software. This is a brand-new release! Enjoy and create some amazing robots - let me know how it goes. Don't waste plastic - inspect your new wheels carefully to avoid part interference. Version 1.4 fixed a bug (HubBearing Sleeve when no hub bearing) and renamed files. Version 1.5, September 26, 2018: I fixed another bug (Rollers interfere with support fins). If you already have the wheel printed, use a Dremel to fix it since the rest of the design remains the same.
