Satellite Dish Screw Protector (Customizable)

<p>This is a cover for the screws used to mount a satellite dish.</p> <p>Usually this is not really needed, but I often have to climb onto the roof and the screws are next to my path. Over the years I scratched myself more than once on the end of the screws, which is annoying and hurts.</p> <p>The dish is also mounted to a balcony, which is kind of dangerous when you stumble and crash head forward into the dish mount.</p> <p>That is the reason I printed the protectors in TPU: To protect me and others. :D</p> <p>You can use any other material you like to print them, just be aware it will be outside getting bombarded with UV light and heat.</p> <p>The cover also protects against rust as the cover prevents water from getting to the screw and the nut. Well, At least I hope so. In my case the primary goal was to cover the pointy ends of the screws.</p> <p>Depending on the screws on your dish you may need a shorter or longer heel. Use scissors to remove the brim.</p> Avoid using any support. It is not required. Especially when printing TPU. This should print fine when using three outer walls.
