Satellite Adjustment Tools

This project came about when I decided not to pay $150 to a Satellite Company for dish installation. Instead, I headed over to my local Harbor Freight store and picked up a Digital Angle Gauge. With that in hand, I needed to figure out how to adjust the dish. This project is geared towards individuals who own or utilize large satellite dishes. Once I added the printed components, I was able to home in on the satellite with an impressive 75% signal strength. The Satellite Level Adjuster attaches to the Mast Elevation Arm. After using my Angle Gauge to determine the elevation, I utilized the extended platform and positioned my compass on the Level Adjuster. From there, I rotated the dish to its correct Azimuth alignment. Next, I placed the Sat-Rec-Mount onto the LNBF and skewed it into place with the correct Skew angle. To ensure the Angle Gauge stayed put, I secured a piece of metal to the Sat-Rec-Mount.
