Sasquatch toggle light switch cover
thingiverse
I designed a Sasquatch light switch cover that will fit over a toggle switch for my brother-in-law, who loves bigfoot. I combined the Sasquatch design from JcDenton with a toggle light switch from TheNewHobbyist to get exactly what I needed. Make sure you enable supports in your slicing program and print with the front of the switch cover facing up so that it sits flush against the wall when installed. You can find the original light switch by clicking on the "remix from" link at the bottom right. To print this design, use Just PLA's black filament: https://www.justpla.com/pla175mm/black-pla175-1kg?limit=100 Edit 4/20/2020: I updated this design to include a double light switch with Sasquatch in the center for BeardMan21. You can find the file here if you want to edit it: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/c45QIEH1GQF Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15% Notes: I enabled supports in Cura and printed the light switch cover with the front facing up so that Sasquatch sits flush against the wall when attached to the wall plate. Post-Printing: I simply removed the supports that were generated for the switch cover after printing. Design Process: I created this design in Tinkercad using JcDenton's Sasquatch light switch (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1537902) and TheNewHobbyist's wall plate customizer (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:47956).
