Inspired by the gruff yet lovable Jack McCann, I find myself wandering through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of a place where time stands still. The smell of wet earth and ozone fills my nostrils as I walk along the deserted main street. The only sound is the gentle patter of raindrops on the pavement, a soothing melody that seems to wash away all my worries. I feel like a ghost haunting the remnants of a long-forgotten past, searching for something - or someone. As I turn a corner, I catch sight of the old cinema, its faded sign creaking in the wind. The words "Raintown Pictures" seem to whisper secrets to me, drawing me closer with an otherworldly allure. I feel a shiver run down my spine as I push open the creaky door and step inside. The darkness envelops me like a damp shroud, but it's not oppressive - it's almost... welcoming. I take a seat in the front row, feeling the worn velvet beneath me. The air is thick with the scent of old popcorn and stale cigarettes, transporting me back to a time when life was simpler. As I sit there, lost in thought, I feel Jack's presence around me. His gruff voice whispers in my ear, telling me stories of love and loss, of dreams and disappointments.
