The spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 is not as clean as usually printed, but it has a "shield" of functional glycans on its surface.
this is a more representative model of the spike protein. Said so, thee glycan chains are more or less random on top of the surface, and it should be used only to showcase the spike protein.

I'm not going to lie to you, it's a difficult print, the printer and the material must be dialled in perfectly otherwise you'll end up with a mess.

as it was designed for 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layers:
IT MUST BE PRINTED WITH 0.4 NOZZLE AND 0.2mm LAYERS!!

I'm also pretty sure it cannot be resized, otherwise all the single extrusion may not been seen by the slicer.

if you try to print it: good luck and may the odds be in your favour

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/baFZRhxuNUk"></oembed>

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 5

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

25%

Filament:
[

Real Filament PLA ](http://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias&field-keywords=Real+Filament+PLA&tag=thingiverse09-20) green Post-Printing

Hair dryer

use an hair dryer to shape the "fur"

Category: Biology
