Sarkofagus Ai Renung, Lokasi 1 houses three megalithic civilization relics. The first object is a complete sarcophagus with a roof-shaped cover. This sarcophagus features human face and body reliefs. Approximately five meters away from the first sarcophagus lies another suspected lid of a sarcophagus, which has toppled to the ground in an inverted position. It is believed that the lid of the sarcophagus resembles a house roof with human head carvings at its ends. The second sarcophagus stands west of the first one. Its condition is quite worn out and lacks a cover. This sarcophagus boasts the most diverse motifs, particularly snakes, lizards, and male and female human figures. This 3D model was created from UAV photo data and Close Range Phorogrammetry data as part of the Sumbawa 3D ArchaeoProject 2018, a joint project between the Sumbawa Regency Government and the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya.
