Yet another kustom kossel. This one is made for the quiet without any compromise on speed. Main particularities of this custom build are speedy and quiet, relatively to my other printers like K800, K8200, 3DR Simple. Many damper parts are printed in flex, including foot, fan, and motor damper. Openbuild V wheel roller carriage is used, along with e3D raised effector with probe and adjustable bed level. Huge build area is available, measuring +/-250mm diameter and 300mm height, with light array integrated into the 2020 extrusion. Note: Not included in files are RepRap extruder, standard 2020 top corner, and Print Settings. Printer: K8200 for flex, 3DR Simple, Sardukar, and K800 for the rest. Rafts: No. Supports: Yes. Resolution: 0.2. Infill: 30. Notes: The stronger the better! Except for all damper parts, which are printed in flex with 2 perimeter/top/bottom and 10% hexa infill. Post-Printing Marlin configuration.h defines DELTA_SEGMENTS_PER_SECOND as 160, DEFAULT_DELTA_DIAGONAL_ROD as 309.125, DEFAULT_DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET as 240.9, DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET as 30, DELTA_CARRIAGE_OFFSET as 35, AUTOCALIBRATION_PRECISION as 0.03, MANUAL_X_HOME_POS as 0, MANUAL_Y_HOME_POS as 0, MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS as 313.2, HOMING_FEEDRATE as {200 * 60, 200 * 60, 200 * 60, 0}, XYZ_ACCELL as 5000, E_ACCELL as 2000, DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT as {80, 80, 80, 700}, DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE as {500, 500, 500, 100}, DEFAULT_MAX_ACCELERATION as {XYZ_ACCELL, XYZ_ACCELL, XYZ_ACCELL, E_ACCELL}, DEFAULT_ACCELERATION as XYZ_ACCELL/3, DEFAULT_RETRACT_ACCELERATION as E_ACCELL, DEFAULT_XYJERK as 22.0, DEFAULT_ZJERK as 22.0, and DEFAULT_EJERK as 15.0. 2020 and Rods size are used for this printer, with 9 pieces of 2020x360mm and 3 pieces of 2020x750mm rods, each measuring +/-310 mm in length. How I Designed This I've printed some parts in rubber-like filament to reduce overall noise of the printer. The feet, fan damper, motor damper, fan holder for ramps, and extruder spacer are made out of flexible filament to reduce vibrations. Various systems were tried for sliders, with delrin V wheel (Openbuild) directly on 2020 profile proving to be the quietest. Variant A magnetic version of effector and carrier is also available, but I don't like it due to loose magnet connection at high speeds when effector changes direction.
