The sarcophagus, unearthed in Pozzuoli, boasts a complete lid adorned with the busts of the deceased spouses prominently displayed on its front panel. The man is depicted wearing a tunic and toga, while his female counterpart dons a tunic and stole. Their hairstyles, styled in accordance with the prevailing fashion of that era, feature undulating waves. Framing these figures are two garlands of fruit, supported by three winged cupids. The lid itself is embellished with acroteria and vivid scenes of marine courtship, complete with cupids riding sea horses. This remarkable object is part of "Scan the World," a groundbreaking non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory.
