Dionysus holds a cup aloft as he rides in a chariot driven by a centaur, situated in the architectural feature known as 'parapetasma'. Snakes with phallopetal markings burst forth from secret caskets below the centaur, while winged putti sit astride the centaur. Hercules, naked and intoxicated, staggers about while gazing longingly at a woman who holds up her garment but meets his gaze head-on. A figure with an exposed phallus stands nearby, accompanied by a satyr standing opposite him. Pan leads a lion as he dances over a secret casket, while a contorted satyr brings up the rear of the procession.
