The individual was scanned using a Sense scanner and homemade turntable. Post-scanning, the model was trimmed flat in Sense software and refined further in Netfabb. The figure was then scaled to 6 inches for compatibility with the Replicator. In Sculptris Alpha 6 software, the "Sarah on Pedestal" file was sculpted to add definition; the pedestal was added in Netfabb as well. After combining and repairing shells in Netfabb, renderings were completed in Sculptris. A decimated version of Sarah on Pedestal, with a reduced file size of 5mb (compared to the original 37mb sculpted version), was uploaded on 12-2-2013.
