SARACENO KNIFE BLOCK

Hello everybody! I recently purchased a professional knife set during the last Black Friday sale on Amazon: http://amzn.com/B002ZCKIBM. Since the knife set didn't come with a block, I decided to create one myself. Safety First! I want to emphasize the importance of safety since this project will be used at home and knives can be hazardous. Therefore, please follow these three crucial steps: 1) Use magnets as described in the project. You can find them here: https://www.amazon.it/Magnetastico%C2%AE-neodimio-frigorifero-permanente-interattiva/dp/B00Z7YVU8A. 2) Utilize rubber pads; print them with TPU95 or another rubber filament. 3) Create the ballast using a milling machine - my project's ballast weighs 2.3Kg. You will need the following hardware: Phillips flat head self-tapping screw, 4.8mm x 22mm: 2 pieces Phillips flat head self-tapping screw, 5.5mm x 25mm: 2 pieces Neodymium magnets, 8mm x 3mm: 4 pieces Please review the PDF and pictures for further details. UPDATE 1 MAY 2018: I added a base without support for those with larger print volumes.
