Sapphire S front fan mount
thingiverse
**Sapphire S Front cover and mount for 3mm fans.** When selecting the fans, make sure to get ones that use 24V. This will allow you to directly connect them to the Sapphire S's power supply. The mounting pins should provide enough tolerance so that the fan can be easily mounted even if your printer is not perfectly calibrated. Use some glue to secure the fan in place. Ensure that the fans blow air outwards, not inwards. It's also important to check the direction of airflow from the internal power supply's fan. If it's blowing air downwards, you may need to adjust its direction to optimize airflow. My Sapphire S's fan was blowing air downwards, which made no sense, especially with a cover sheet installed at the bottom and using the front fan mount. To adjust the fan's direction, you can simply turn it around. The mounting screws fit both directions, but be careful when working with electricity.
