Sapphire Pro Y-Vibration Fix
thingiverse
If you're experiencing these ripples in the Y-direction at certain speeds, there's an effortless fix. You'll only need 2 M3-screws and 1 M3-nut. Simply attach the part as illustrated in the final picture, with the screw positioned exactly in the middle serving as a guide (you'll have to detach the hotend, remove one of the four cooling-block screws, secure the part using a longer screw, reattach the hotend, and finally secure it from the front using the remaining M3 screw with the nut).\r\n\r\nPhoto 4 provides a view from behind. You can see how the part is attached to the front, but you won't notice how it's secured to the top of the hotend (one screw has been replaced by a longer one attaching this part). This significantly reduces vibration, making your setup much more stable.
