I've reinforced the top plate on my Sapphire Pro with cross braces, attaching them to the T-slots using M4 threaded rod. To do this, I printed blocks that fit snugly into place and used a grinder to clear out some material from the V-slot aluminium extrusions, allowing the rods to rotate smoothly inside the slot. The added rigidity has made a huge difference in the overall stability of my 3D printer. To replicate this mod, you'll need to print two blocks for each side of your Sapphire Pro and any necessary separators where the rods intersect. You'll also require: * 4 long M4 threaded rod pieces (520mm each) * 16 M4x16mm bolts * 20 washers in size M4 * 4 locknuts in size M4 * 4 nuts in size M4
