Saphira Bjartskular
thingiverse
This is Saphira Bjartskular, brought to life from the iconic cover of Eragon by Christopher Paolini. This artwork serves as a testament to the fact that it's entirely feasible to create a stunning 3D Saphira that embodies the spirit of the book. The Inheritance Cycle stands as a remarkable series, with Paolini's writing skills truly shining through. I was particularly let down by the lack of available 3D dragon models, so here is the first one. While I'm not entirely satisfied with my rendition of Saphira, it represents the best effort I could muster. Maybe someday I'll revisit this project and deliver an even more impressive result, warranting an updated set of images. The flat backside of Saphira makes her a perfect candidate for wall decoration, allowing you to easily display her in your home or office. For those seeking improved print quality, I've included a sliced-up version that should yield better results. According to the licensing agreement, no commercial use is permitted. However, I'm open to discussing potential exceptions. Sverdar sitja hvass!
