Design by Mateus Machado - Brazil www.facebook.com/printmobi www.instagram.com/print_mobi The Moisture Protector is a piece designed to safeguard furniture (chairs, benches, tables, etc.), made from MDF or MDP sheets, against floor moisture. The idea was to work with symbols that evoke water, such as the drop shape on the sides of the piece. Meanwhile, the design on the lower part, which comes into contact with the floor, resembles ocean waves when a drop falls onto calm water's surface. The Moisture Protector can be printed on demand using any low-cost 3D printer. This project was selected and participated in the "Approximately 800cm3 of PLA" exhibition, held in April 2017 at the Red Bull Station's Temporary Gallery - São Paulo/SP.
