The SAOCOM satellite was designed and built in Argentina by INVAP, CONAE, VENG, CNEA in partnership with multiple suppliers. Visit http://saocom.invap.com.ar/ to learn more about this project. SAOCOM satellites are part of the Italian-Argentine Satellite System for Emergency Management (SIASGE), which was created through a joint effort between the Argentine National Commission on Space Activities (CONAE) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The main goal is to provide support for emergency situations, economic development, and societal progress.
