Four-way gates can be a total game-changer for Sanwa JLF-style sticks. Unfortunately, the cheap Sanwa 'style' stick that came with my Zero-Delay kit only had an 8-way gate with no insert, which is completely unacceptable in my book. I'm talking about square 8-way gates here, and to be honest, I don't even like those for 8-way games, let alone 4-way ones. Playing Ladybug or any other 4-way game with one of these sticks is an exercise in frustration, plain and simple.
