Sanus HTBS Speaker Stand Replacement Height Adjustment Collar
thingiverse
I recently ordered a pair of [Sanus HTBS Speaker Stands](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002HZHUCW) and when they arrived the height adjustment collar (a crucial component to using these stands at anything above their minimum height) was completely stripped of its threading making it totally unusable. According to the reviews this seems to be a common issue with the part either arriving stripped or stripping very easily during assembly. Since I was otherwise happy with the stands I decided to model this replacement part rather than requesting a refund/replacement. This part works identically to how the original part is supposed to work. It is to be placed on the top pole with the original slitted plastic tension ring below it. It may be easier to install if you first slide off the heat shrink found on the bottom of the top pole and temporarily put that to the side, replacing it once the adjustment collar and tension ring are installed.
