Click SHOW MORE to learn my story! It's the year 30XX and humanity has colonized the farthest reaches of the universe. In order for old Saint Nick to deliver gifts to all the good girls and boys scattered across the stars, he needed a team of helpers. So after careful consideration, Santa's loyal elves created the Little Helper Robot, capable of tirelessly making, sorting, and wrapping enough presents for everyone! ---------------------------------- Assembly Instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KzN-MDQvHM Designed for the 2017 #TinkerChristmas competition, this adorable 100% TinkerCAD design comes in six easy-to-print pieces that can be made in approximately four hours on a standard printer. Simply insert the pegs and adjust the pose to your liking! The body can be rotated, displaying either message on the front. Additionally, the set includes a plain head with an optional Santa hat that can be attached using glue or double-sided tape. Merry Christmas and happy printing! ---------------------------------- Printed in PLA on a moderately equipped Anet A8 in about four hours. Part orientation was chosen for a desired "grain" rather than ease of printing alone. As a result, the Santa hat is separate, since incorporating it into the head would make the circular grain appear uneven due to its pivot. If anyone wants a combined hat+head stl so they don't need glue/tape, please let me know and I'll add it to the project. Assembly should be press-fit with some resistance to prevent the parts from falling out. Simply rotate the part until its peg is fully seated. All parts should remain poseable even after assembly. This object was created in Tinkercad. Check it out at: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4pWAUoj68Nb
