Sans from Undertale (Eyes Optimized for 3D Printing)

I used Nibroc.Rock's figure pose model from this download and cut out the amiibo stand. I've included the raw figure pose in the model downloads (Sans Figure Pose.obj) for anyone who wants to edit it further or differently. Source: 3D Printable Eyes modified from techappsgoodson's remix of another post of a modified Sans model from Nibroc.Rock (they used a Steam Workshop rip of the originally posted custom model): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1393321 My original urge to create this design was to print techappsgoodson's model as one piece. However, I discovered that his split model seemed to be missing some layers, so I decided to pull the model directly from the source (Nibroc.Rock), cut out the eyes from techappsgoodson's model, and scale the replacement eyes to be large enough to replace those of the original model. This model is designed to be printed horizontally, with Sans' face looking upwards. Printing horizontally also improves the quality of the print in my opinion, as there is a less dramatic increase in the print's elevation on the torso than on the head, making it so layer lines are less prominent due to a smaller decrease in the area of each progressive layer. I was able to print this model fairly successfully on my Creality CR-10 with only base plate supports. I didn't add supports in the model for the teeth, but they seemed to print fine when I slowed the speed for those layers with only a little clean-up necessary afterwards. If you want that part to be supported, you could do supports everywhere on the model. Lastly, I would recommend splitting the model in two if your printer/settings tend to create issues with removing supports and you want a nice, clean print without having to sand or paint over imperfections caused by a supported print. Microsoft's free 3D Builder program provides a pretty simple way to do so, but it's up to you where you want to slice the model to create the least noticeable seam where the model is glued together. Happy printing!
