This bird feeder still doesn't live up to JohnBeardon's high standards, but since we're in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains quite often, I've made some adjustments to (I'm pretty sure it was GavinKennedy's) Bird Feeder using Soda Bottle Thread from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:251085 . I added a small awning and a sturdier stringer to prevent the strings from twisting. The initial stringer turned out to be a bit too flimsy, so I beefed it up with another one that's more robust. We're always eager to hear your feedback.
