Sanlaki 16mm tube remix quest 2 (ikea RÄCKA curtain rod)

Remix of the sanlaki (sleek) stock. Made for a 16mm metal tube. I had an Ikea curtain rod (RÄCKA) from an abandoned project lying around. Things cost 1,99 euros here ;) Steel and powdercoated finish, available in multiple colors! The inner part is 16mm and i used that. (outer part is 19mm and both rods are around 70cm long). I used two strong 32mm width magnets for both left and right controllers that i ordered online. 15 euros incl shipping. Couldve gotten 4 for 22 euros with free shipping. silly me... The magnets i got were a bit deeper it seemed and i've seen varying depth sizes on these magnets, so i took that into account. To make the magnet flush on the controller holders just add a bit paper or cardstock for the correct height before screwing them on. Its for right and left dominant handed people, I remixed the right hand controller and mirrored it: both are for 32mm magnets anyway. As the 16mm curtain rod has the same size as a 5/8 or 16mm pvc/conduit i used pvc connectors to easily assemble/ dissassemble and store it. Actually... i cut the rod in a wrong size beforehand and this was a welcome fix with benefits. (measure twice, cut once people...) You can cut two tubes for front and rear or cut it into three parts like i did and use a pvc connector to connect it all up. My silly action left me with another fix. I didnt have a long enough metal rod for the back part (buttstock) so i used another piece of pvc tubing to get the correct length that worked for me. The benefit of using pvc on the rear part is that It seems better balanced now. I used 2 pvc connectors for my build. 1 in the middle part and 1 as the front cap. I added a front cap 3d model aswell that u could use as connector too. Superglue the necessary parts and done... Everything is printed with Petg on low resolution (.28) and 45% infill.
