This is a tool for opening the valve on a sanke keg spear for cleaning. The main block seats in the same spot as a keg tap and the screw presses the steel ball/spring down allowing cleaner to enter the spear. The screw is notched to allow for inconsistencies in the main block threading (stringing etc). The screw is hexagonal, though it can easily be turned by hand.
