A stainless steel sanitary check valve, tri-clamped at 1.5 inches, is commonly used in food industry equipment such as filling machines. This valve operates by creating a low pressure zone (vacuum) on its opposite side, forcing the piston against a spring and allowing fluid flow. Once the vacuum is removed, the spring pushes the piston against the seal to close the valve. Constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel and food-grade elastomer seals (such as Viton or EPDM), it is available in formats like Solidworks 2013 (native), STEP, and .x_t (Parasolid). An updated version now includes the clamp ferrule assembly.
