This project remains unfinished for now, but check back later to find updated designs and revisions. Sanicube is a 3D printable sanitizer that uses widely available E-17 sized UVC bulbs along with 63 series normally open microswitches, commonly found in microwave ovens, as both a safety interlock and power switch. The purpose of Sanicube is to quickly sanitize personal items such as wallets, keys, and smartphones. Simply place your belongings on the rack, then push it until the switch is activated. The Sanicube's design ensures that UVC radiation stays safely contained within. At this point in time, the circuit can be based on either a capacitive dropper design or a conventional ballast resistor design. However, work on the circuit remains ongoing and not yet complete.
