Sanguinololu Case

Sanguinololu Case

thingiverse

This case was chosen as it met various requirements such as non-conductivity, transparency to view LED and overall status without opening, high temperature resistance, ease of access, and complete enclosure for the Sanguinololu board to prevent dropping damage. The case used is an HPL816 lock & lock. It withstands temperatures up to 257°F/125°C and is durable, though may crack under severe impact. Additional parts printed included a layout holder and washers for better organization of the board. Drilling and nibbling were done for cable placement and a small fan was added between the Pololu heatsinks on the lid. The case's performance can be viewed at http://www.lasivian.com/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=110, with a possible future addition of a plunger for the reset switch, although its frequent use is minimal.
