Human: Check Out These Awesome Sand Castle Moulds Inspired by Star Wars That Use Simple Geometric Shapes to Tessellate Individually or Together for a Larger Base. I've Added Some Cool Images to Help You Get Started! Design: The buckets have a sturdy 2mm wall thickness and sloped angles on all sides, making it easy to remove the moulds from the sand without damaging them. There are also several 1mm holes in the top of each mould to allow air in when removed, which will help prevent vacuum seals from forming and holding details in place. Printing: I highly recommend printing these models as a solid object, upside down with supports for surfaces over 46° to ensure the moulds print with intricate detail on the inside while minimizing waste. This approach will yield the best results. Idea: Designed to make learning about geometric shapes and tessellation fun, these three buckets are perfect for kids who love Star Wars and want to explore the maths behind these concepts. With my nephews' input, I created these moulds that can be used together to create a variety of tessellated designs, keeping them engaged and excited about learning. To add an educational twist, each bucket has 10cm sides, allowing kids to calculate the area of each sandcastle and compare their creations. It's going to be a fun competition!
