Sanding Tool NN1C's Version
thingiverse
My take on a sanding tool, inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3159240. I've made several changes: The wedge now includes a slot for a nut, preventing thread cutting into the PLA. The knob is designed to accommodate a hex screw, eliminating unwanted turning. To assemble the parts, you'll need: 1x M4 HexScrew 1x M4 Nut 1x Sanding Paper Adhesive to secure the cap I printed the parts on an Artillery Genius using Alfawise PLA (Gray) at 200°C Extruder and 80°C Bed temperatures. It's recommended to print with a reasonable brim to avoid warping issues. Update: v1: The hole in the knob for the screw was initially too small, so I enlarged it to 4.3 mm. The design is no longer Work-In-Progress; all parts have been test printed and meet expectations. I modeled the grooves for the fingers based on look and feel alone. The grip seems to fit my hand and fingers better than Perinski's design. The knurling is quite detailed, but if you think it's too fine, I can provide a version with less detail.
