Sanding Sticks with Labels
prusaprinters
This sanding stick takes strips of sandpaper and holds them firmly in place while using. It also comes with customized plates showing the used grain size.Printing:Print as you desire. 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles worked fine for me. 0.2 layerhight makes sure the little threads come out nicely. Didnt try 0.3 jet but you might.Using:While spanning the paper with the back part, you might also have to give the paper some help with your fingers to tighten it further toowards the back. For even more grain sizes i highly reccomend to see syscrashs remix. He added a lot of additional platesCHANGELOG 23.08.23Added two bolts with easiert to grip geometry. One longer version and one winged version. Both bolts still can be printed standing on the head Why this Remix?:The original is realy usefull and handy but i found the strip slipping sideways every now and then a little unpleasant. This is because the strip is not easy to be tighten because of the single “center plate”. So in the end i reworked the sanding stick a little and made it a two part design. The size and measures of the whole stick are exactly the same, so they'll fit in your allready existing stick holder (If you have one). The bolts are interchangeable also but my ones have a slightly modified head.
