Sanding Contour Grips
thingiverse
This device consists of various contour designs used specifically for sanding purposes. You can wrap a piece of sandpaper around its contoured edge, then utilize the hand grip to position the sandpaper into hard-to-reach areas. Alternatively, you can securely attach sandpaper to the shape by using a contact adhesive, CA glue, or even a glue stick. It's no secret that this is an exact replica of existing sanding tools available here at Lee Valley: http://www.leevalley.com/us/wood/page.aspx?p=20183&cat=1,42500 I've provided multiple sizes in 1/8" increments, typically including both concave and convex shapes. This set also includes four angled designs, as well as three smaller concave models (13mm, 18mm, and 24mm) which fit standard small model rocket bodies. Keep in mind that these shapes do not account for the thickness of the sandpaper. If you need to make room for this, consider reducing the shape's size slightly within your slicer software. Each design features its size marked prominently on both sides and includes a hole for hanging it from a pegboard or any other suitable surface.
