Sanding Block screws with grits imprinted
prusaprinters
Remixed screws from jeffsburton's sanding block (Sanding Block by jeffsburton - Thingiverse). I wanted to have an indicator of what grit sandpaper I had on the block. While obvious sometimes, I thought this would be something nice to have with little effort. There are 16 different grit sizes. If you need a different grit size all I did was import the screw into tinkercad and put text on top and sunk them down into the screw so it would still print flat without supports. The screws are showing with the grit number face up so you can see which ones you need to print. When printing flip them 180 so top of screw is face down. It will print fine.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:PrusaPrinter: I3 MK3SRafts:NoSupports: NoResolution:.3 layer heightInfill: 10%Filament: eSun PLA Black Notes: These settings worked well for me. I did not care about detail and wanted quick print is why I chose .3 and the screw in fine. Not sure if .2 would do any better. The grit numbers show well. You can also paint inside for easier viewing.Post-Printing ============= Category: Hand Tools
