Sanding Block - No Screws

MODIFIED VERSION

PETG, PLA, etc
Layer height 0.3mm
3mf (and gcode) file pre-scaled
60% infill (doesn't really matter)
No skirt or brim

25mm wide, about 33mm high and roughly 82.5mm long.
Cut the sandpaper to about 180mm long by 25mm wide (conveniently the width of a standard steel rule which makes cutting the strips very simple and fast).

Wrap the sandpaper round the sander and jam the ends in with the block. Quick and easy - no loosening or tightening of screws or any of that nonsense.

Note that the SolidWorks and STL files are NOW 100% TO SCALE (previously 200% scaled).

Adapt the shape of the block to suit the job. This size of block should print in about 1h 20m (on a Prusa Mk3s with 0.4mm nozzle, 60% infill).

NB: The modifications resize the SolidWorks design to 100% size and are now fully defined. The jamming piece is a teeny weeny bit bigger so it jams even very fine grained sandpaper in the sander (the previous version was a little loose). The difference was something like 1/10th mm but it makes a big difference.

All the files (except the photographs) are updated.

Regards, Paul
