Here's a little hamster sandbox. Attention: only sand sold as "chinchilla sand" or "bathing clay" can be used for a hamster. Beach sand, or any other sand found in nature, is to be proscribed: it is full of germs and minerals that are bad for the health of your hamster, and could cause skin and respiratory diseases.
