Sand Spike Basket

Sand Spike Basket

It's fishing time! Here are some various basket designs for mounting to a sand spike / fishing pole holder. I crafted the bottom mesh to allow water and sand to drain out. Now get out and fish! I included a thin model for the curved one with the divider for rapid printing. I printed it using a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3 layer height. It takes less than three hours. I don't think PLA would hold up, but PETG feels like a thick Pepsi bottle and is very flexible. Another update: I added a curved model for 2" OD PVC in case you're using homemade spikes. I haven't tried it since all of mine were purchased and have an outside diameter of 48mm. I assumed on the 2" one that the outer diameter is actually 2". Good luck! I also included the SolidWorks file for one of them so you can edit it any way you want. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Does not matter Infill: 55% but should not matter Notes: I printed mine in PETG, which can withstand a lot of abuse.
