Sand/Snow Tires for 1/10-1/12 rc toys cars
pinshape
Hi, I designed these tires for my little rc car to use on sand or snow, using pla flex filament. The design is optimized specifically for a 0.4mm nozzle (note: it's impossible to print with any other nozzle size except 0.2mm). I've added the center core of the tire to the files so you can create your own tires, included in the file Mozzo-Copertone.stl. You can use it by incorporating it into your design. There are three versions available: - Version B and C have an optimized design that's easy to print, with a width of 34mm and 44mm. - Version A is a prototype with big lateral teeth but has a problem with the top closing properly. Suggested print settings include: 1. Perimeter printing 2. Full infill (100%) 3. Layer height: 0.25mm 4. Top/bottom thickness: 1mm For the wheels rims, you can use any print setting you prefer; I suggest printing without supports as shown in the image. You can see version A and C in detail on the videos below. The first video shows version C, while the second video features version A after a test run.
