A Sand Shark Jaw was scanned by Artur Pacyga at Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab, which is housed in the Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences at Iowa State University. The 3D scan was produced using a MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner with the "dark" setting for enhanced detail. This process involved multiple scans, known as MultiScanning, to ensure an accurate representation of the jaw's intricate features.
