sand scoop
thingiverse
I designed a beach metal detecting scoop using a 3D printer with five different processes, allowing me to customize infill percentages in specific areas, such as near the handle. The design features a hole tailored for a standard one-inch broom handle and includes a through-bolt slot. I haven't personally tested it yet since my print is still active, but you're welcome to try it out if you'd like. So far, it's printing smoothly in PLA, which isn't ideal for hot sand environments due to its thermal limitations; however, working with ABS is well beyond my current skill level, so PLA will have to suffice for now.
