This is designed for packing greensand or petrabond sand for casting, weighing approximately 1.8 lbs when cast in aluminum. The alignment pins measure 6 mm but can be easily drilled out to 1/4 inch, allowing a 1-inch long piece of 1/4 rod to be used instead. Smaller holes beside the alignment holes are designed to accommodate wood screws, aiding in removal from the sand. A complete sand rammer model is also available for those who prefer not to cast it and would rather use the 3D printed version instead.
