Sand paper handler
thingiverse
This is a clip-style sandpaper handler that features a main clip part which secures configurable parts by tightening 3 M3 bolts or nuts. It holds strips of sandpaper with variable lengths and widths up to 50mm. I've been in need of this tool for years but never thought to make it myself until now. Instructions: Before closing the clip, wrap the sandpaper around the blades and you're done. This tool is clean, sturdy, quick, and configurable. Use washers on the bolt heads. Sample blades are included, or you can create your own using my customizer at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1663571. Alternatively, you can use FreeCAD sources. For a softer sanding experience, consider adding foam between the sandpaper and blade. To print this clip, use at least 60% infill and a 4mm perimeter to ensure it's sturdy. Happy sanding! UPDATE (9-JUL-2016): An M4 clip has been added due to depleted M3 stock.
