Sand Blaster Through Hole Modification
thingiverse
This is an essential component for a Harbor Freight sandblasting cabinet that enables users to efficiently process long tubing and solid stock. To set it up, drill a precise 2.5-inch hole through both sides of the sandblaster walls about 5mm above the grate (floor inside). The printed parts consist of two outside flanges (one for each side) and one inner cap for each side. Secure the flange to the outside of the hole on either side of the sandblaster by screwing or bolting it in place, paying close attention to how the door gasket closes on this bracket. Insert the inner piece into the flange from inside the sandblaster to prevent sand from escaping when processing longer pieces is not necessary. When needed, remove the inner pieces and slide a 20-foot long piece of angle iron through the sides of the cabinet via the flanges. To minimize dust leakage during blasting, consider inserting a rag into the gap between the insert and the wall.
