Sand Blaster Gun
thingiverse
I made this sand blaster gun using parts I already had on hand in my toolboxes. The pipe is stainless steel, with an outer diameter of 0.250". The overall length of the pipe is 3.5". The screws and nuts are also 0.250". The air gun itself is a standard model, fitted with a connection for the 0.25" pipe. In the base of the reservoir, I drilled a hole that was initially 2 mm in diameter. However, to access it through both the plastic and stainless steel pipe, I had to use a 5/32" drill at the end. This approach worked better and allowed me to increase the compressor pressure to 30 PSI. Warning: Do not test this design with full pressure. Always start with low pressure and incrementally increase it in small steps. Use extreme caution when working with this device, as it can potentially explode and cause serious injury or even death.
