The sanctuary of Rocamadour is a medieval stronghold situated in Occitania, northern France. Carved into the side of a rugged cliff, it stands the test of time for centuries. By leveraging modern technology, we gain a new perspective on this ancient metropolis. At the outset, photogrammetry played a pivotal role in bringing the structure to life, but something was still missing - precise details that define its intricacies. A solution was devised: rebuilding each facade using 3D printing with remarkable precision. This digital rendition boasts exceptional resolution, particularly noticeable when rendered with a layer height of 0.2mm. This meticulously crafted model measures 190 mm in width, 130 mm in depth, and 130 mm in height, boasting stunning architectural fidelity. Its design ensures seamless integration into existing settings or stand-alone installations. Due to the extraordinary level of detail, manufacturing demands are understandably rigorous, hence an adaptable strategy is necessary to navigate the complexity. To facilitate production, the model has been segmented into multiple parts: three major sections for ease of fabrication and six distinct modules available for expedited workflow.
