Opera: "San Vincenzo de' Paoli tra beneficiati e miracolati" is a painting located in the Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Savona (SV). Artist: Paolo Gerolamo Brusco was born in Savona, Italy in 1742 and died in 1820. He is also known as Bruschetto for his prolific career producing numerous paintings of sacred and secular subjects that adorn churches, oratories, and palaces throughout Liguria. Notable works include portraits of Pope Pius VII, created during the Pope's imprisonment in Savona, and frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Date: The painting was commissioned by the "Fathers of the Mission" who took over from the Jesuits in 1773 after their order was suppressed.
